Mexicali, Mexico has a long history as a crossroads for trade, travel, and meetings of different cultures, and a museum was a perfect place to highlight and modernize this cultural exchange. The project involved several stages of research and development, envisioning the city as a place for post-lockdown tourism and developing a visual identity that was flexible, exuberant, and cohesive when applied to the various applications needed for an institution of this scale.
