Logo & identity for Waveform—a synthesizer expo coming up this October in Portland.
The organizer wanted a strong lettermark that spoke in a visual language that synth users would recognize, and we finally agreed on this representation of a sawtooth wave common in synthesis that forms a subtle W in negative space. Here’s the final logo plus my favorite 13 W marks i drew in the making of :). Looking forward to developing more things together to promote this event as it approaches!
The final logo and identity uses the lovely Glock Grotesk by Ivan Tsanko (support Ukrainian creators!)
